How your information is used
Soar High for Kids is the practice of Dr. Shoba Sriram, a special educator in Bengaluru. This page explains what we ask for when you book a consultation, why, and where it is kept. Last updated 27 October 2026.
What we ask for
When you book a consultation, the form asks for:
- your name, phone number, email address and city;
- your child’s age and class;
- whether your child has had a formal assessment and, only if you choose to tell us, the assessment or diagnosis;
- your main concerns and, if you wish, a description in your own words;
- whether you would like to meet online or in person, and the time you choose.
Please share only what you are comfortable sharing. Everything beyond your contact details and your child’s age helps us prepare, and is not required to talk to us.
Why we ask
Only to understand your child’s needs before we speak, to arrange and hold the consultation, and to contact you about it. We do not sell your information, share it for advertising, or use it for anything else.
Where it goes
- Your answers are saved in a Google Form in Soar High’s own Google account.
- Payment is handled by Razorpay. You enter your card, UPI or bank details on Razorpay’s own secure window: we never see or store them. Razorpay keeps a record of the payment with your name, contact details and answers, so we can match it to your booking. See Razorpay’s privacy policy.
- Your consultation is added to Soar High’s Google Calendar, and Google emails you an invitation. Online consultations take place on Google Meet.
- If you write to us, your email stays in Soar High’s inbox.
Google Calendar
The website uses Google’s Calendar service for one account only: Soar High’s own. It reads that calendar to show the free times, and adds the consultations that are booked. It never asks for or opens your Google account. Its use of information from Google’s services follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
This website
The website has no advertising, no analytics and no tracking cookies. Like every website, its hosting service keeps short-lived technical logs (such as addresses and times of visits) to run it securely. Razorpay’s payment window, when you open it, is Razorpay’s own.
How long we keep it
For as long as we are supporting your child, and afterwards only as long as needed for our records, including payment records we are required to keep by law.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information you have shared with us, at any time, by writing tosoarhighforkids@gmail.com.
